Rae Richards (she/her) is excited to support Cradle to Career as part of her outreach assistantship through the Paul D. Coverdell office at the University of Arizona. As a Coverdell fellow, Rae is pursuing a Master’s in Education and is student-teaching in an 8th-grade social studies classroom.
Prior to moving to Tucson, Rae completed a service year with AmeriCorps Colorado, where she supported a caseload of 10th-grade students with efforts to engage them in school and improve their attendance. She also served as an education Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand from 2017-2019.
Rae earned her B.A. in International Studies with a minor in International Development from Colorado State University in 2016. Her interests include reading (sci-fi, graphic novels, non-fic, YA), knitting socks, and playing frisbee.
